          August 1-23  Saturn is aspecting Pluto awkwardly, which is a challenging aspect and was present during September 2001. Old patterns are needing to fall away. There could be a focus of attention on Jerusalem. With Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn negotiations will come and go. New leadership is necessary.

          August 1-22 Jupiter is aspecting Pluto. This difficult aspect has been with us since mid June. It’s all about honesty. Jupiter and Pluto bring out fanatical points of view which have little tolerance for others. Where religion and politics are woven we will see serious issues unraveling.

          August 6-8 Venus is conjunct Saturn in Libra. After the last couple of days with Venus aspecting Uranus, now you are aware of your need to define what you want and don’t want in relationships. Anyone who was born between September 24-26 of any year is feeling the need for commitment and stability in relationship. There would be some frustration felt at this time.

                   August 9 the New Moon takes place at 11:09 p.m. with the Sun and Moon at 17 degrees of Leo. Group processing and focusing on ideals that translate into action will be where our energies meet this month (month meaning-from New Moon to New Moon). Taking a stand for what feels “right and true,” is empowering. There are no planets impeding our goals during this New Moon cycle.

          August 11-21 Jupiter in Aries is opposite Saturn in Libra known for messing with the economy, unless the goals are geared toward making money by way of serving the Earth and the people. Stricter regulations need to be in place. More people become ill with the products that ought not be permitted to be on the shelf, particularly the sweeteners.

          August 13 Uranus will be turning retrograde today until December 6. Uranus will take you inward to find out how you can free yourself and others. It could be with innovative inventions or “simply” letting go of personally debilitating beliefs that hold back the Divine energy from flowing freely.

          August 20 – September 12 is when Mercury is retrograde in Virgo, which makes you even more aware of how much criticizing is going on internally. You think that by being more productive that you will feel better about yourself. You’re apt to be hyper sensitive to any semblance of criticism about you by a co-worker or by your employer. As always while Mercury is retrograde take good care of your vehicle, computer, and speak your truth with clarity to avoid being misunderstood. Assumptions made during this phase would create more confusion.

          August 22 The Sun is awkwardly aspecting Uranus. This aspect will stimulate defensive reactions from anyone who feels that they are under pressure to perform a certain way. August 23 The Sun will be entering into Virgo

 at 1:26 a.m. and remains here until September 22. While the Sun moves through Virgo the drive within you to make improvements within yourself and the world at large, somehow someway is greatly activated. Virgo an earth sign, has you thinking about the animal kingdom and the environment and what is needed. The disastrous oil spill has brought to light the fact that relying on oil is no longer tenable.

                    August 23-26 The Sun in Virgo is nicely aspecting Pluto in Capricorn indicating reforms which favor consideration for the environment. Anyone who was born on any of these three days (any year) will have the support of this aspect until their next birthday to let go of past patterns and transform their lives, rebuild, renew, and begin again.

          August 24 The Full Moon will take place at 1:05 p.m. with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo in a positive aspect with Pluto. Great opportunity for transformation and realization, however you must be willing to be vulnerable.
